Mark Zukerman

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

With over 35 years of experience earned in the real estate brokerage, development and consulting, Mark brings a considerable amount of experience and marketing acumen to Encore Sotheby’s International Realty.

Mark’s well-deserved reputation in the greater Indianapolis metropolitan area of building up-scale, community-friendly residential developments has earned him recognition from national home builders, financing institutions, investment partners, and civic leaders. Mark’s developments can be found in Carmel, Fishers, Indianapolis, Noblesville, Westfield, and Zionsville.

Mark cultivated his real estate experience by serving as President of Mark Zukerman & Associates, Inc. a real estate development and consulting company from 1991-2009. During that time, Mark provided consulting services to many regional real estate developers including Brenwick Development Company (The Village of WestClay) and Stonegate Development (Stonegate). A notable part of his industry experience resulted from his affiliation with Aaron Y. Cohen who is recognized for numerous upscale residential properties in Indianapolis, Palm Beach, Florida and the Dominican Republic.

Mark earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, Bloomington and holds an Indiana Real Estate Managing Brokers license. He and his wife Diana reside in Carmel, Indiana and are active in the Carmel and Indianapolis community. Mark is the proud parent of his son, Ryan, who is in his final year of medical school and his daughter, Gabby, who works in deal advisory at KPMG. He is an avid golfer and is a member of the Crooked Stick Golf Club and has traveled around the globe to play at some of the most renowned courses in the world. Mark is a past Executive Board member of the Indiana Jewish Historical Society, a two time President of the nationally recognized Carmel Swim Club, and a past board member of the Indiana University Parent Advisory Board. Mark and Diana currently serve as the National Chairs of the University of Miami (FL) Miller School of Medicine Parent Advisory Board.

Lindsay McAteer

Chief Operating Officer

An Indiana native, Lindsay has a true understanding of our wonderful city! As a founding member and the Chief Operating Officer at Encore Sotheby's International Realty, Lindsay has been an invaluable resource in the company's growth and success. Throughout this time Lindsay has also gained a first-hand understanding of real estate transactions, the local market, and outstanding customer service. Without a doubt, this experience has provided a valuable foundation in real estate. As a licensed Managing Broker, Lindsay also focuses her time in growing and managing Encore Sotheby’s International Realty’s Relocation Department. Lindsay has assisted in successfully relocating corporate executives to and from the Indianapolis area. She has an extensive knowledge of the relocation process, established relationships with relocation companies and a desire to facilitate a smooth transition for all involved.

Lindsay currently serves on the Realtor Foundation Board of Directors where she dedicates her time to ending the cycle of homelessness throughout Central Indiana. Lindsay is a graduate of Butler University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. She is passionate about her community and experiencing all Indianapolis has to offer. Specifically, Lindsay enjoys spending time with her family and friends, attending numerous sporting events, visiting several outdoor concert venues, and slowly sampling the best of every culinary establishment in Indianapolis! Having the desire to experience culture in other countries as well, Lindsay travels as much as possible with her husband, Kevin and their children, Piper and Nolan!

Lindsay McAteer

Chief Operating Officer

Leah Link

DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

As Director of Marketing, Leah Link oversees the strategic planning and implementation of initiatives including property marketing collateral, advertising, marketing plans, brand promotion, market reports and public relations.

Originally from Iowa City, Iowa, Leah attended college at the University of Iowa and graduated with a degree in Communication Studies, a minor in Human Relations and a Certificate of Entrepreneurial Management. Shortly after college, she moved to and lived in southern Germany while working at a hotel and resort for the US Department of Defense. Upon returning to the United States, the mountains were calling and she moved to Denver, Colorado with her now-husband. While there, she worked in marketing at a RE/MAX brokerage, followed by four-and-a-half years at LIV Sotheby’s International Realty. Upon moving to the Midwest, Leah joined the team at Encore Sotheby’s International Realty at the end of 2021.

Leah currently resides in Carmel, Indiana with her husband and their Aussiedoodle puppy, aptly named Summit, inspired by their love of the mountains and outdoors. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking and biking.

Veronica Lytle

Director of Creative Assets and Digital Media

When she's not pushing pixels and connecting creative dots, you’ll find her hanging out with her husband Shawn, playing with her pup Reggie Miller, and exploring her new neighborhood in Pendleton, Indiana, where they just built their first home this summer.

Veronica Lytle

Brooke Shepherd

LISTING MANAGER

A lifelong Hoosier and graduate of Ball State University, Brooke joined Encore Sotheby’s International Realty in the summer of 2017. Though relatively new to the Encore family, Brooke is no stranger to the real estate arena. In 2005, Brooke joined the F.C. Tucker Company as the listing administrator until 2011. From there, she transitioned into the executive office of Christel DeHaan with Christel House International, where she was able to exercise a high caliber of customer service to both internal and external clients. After returning to real estate as a title searcher, Brooke eventually linked up with M/I Homes, again, as a sales administrator. Her experience with traditional as well as new construction real estate, has allowed her to bring a well-rounded contribution to Encore Sotheby’s as the listing coordinator. She and her husband, along with their German Shepherd mixed puppy, reside in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Maggie Watkins joined Encore Sotheby's International Realty as our Operations Coordinator in January of 2021. As the Operations Coordinator, she manages all pending and closed files, in addition to keeping reports of all office sales volume and transactions. She also oversees continued education and license renewal for our agents.

Born and raised in Warsaw, IN Maggie then attended Ball State University where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in Organizational Communications and a double-minor in Marketing and Sociology. Through earning her degree in Organizational Communications, Maggie has developed a strong understanding of people and how to efficiently and effectively use those skills within an organization. She also brings prior knowledge on the real-estate industry as throughout her collegiate career she interned under the Lynn Reecer team as their Communication/Marketing Specialist & Sales Assistant, assisting Lynn's team with closing properties, social media marketing, and much more.

Maggie is new to the Indianapolis area and is eager to learn even more about Encore! In her spare time, Maggie loves spending time with her family and friends, especially at her family home on Winona Lake, IN!

Native to Fort Wayne, David is a University of Saint Francis graduate, and he also holds an associate Broker license. He enjoys helping millennial clients find or sell their first home in Northeast and Southwest Fort Wayne.

When relaxing at home, David enjoys Cubs baseball, Hoosier Basketball, and Notre Dame football.
